Guidelines

Gentle View is a strict filter. Everything in Visualise, Move, Listen and Watch has to meet all six of these rules.

  1. 1. Reputable publisherEvery item comes from an established publisher, university, health organisation or production studio on our allowlist. No anonymous uploads.
  2. 2. EmbeddableVideos have to play inside Gentle View. If a publisher doesn't allow embedding, we leave it out rather than send you elsewhere.
  3. 3. No clickbaitTitles that shout, tease or exaggerate are filtered out, however popular they are.
  4. 4. No medical claimsNothing that promises to cure, treat or fix a condition. Gentle View is for everyday stress, not a substitute for care.
  5. 5. Captions availableEvery video has captions, so it works with the sound off and for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  6. 6. Fits the sectionEach item has to match what its section is for: a Move item gets you moving, a Watch item is calm to look at.

Weekly refresh

Once a week, Gentle View checks its sources again, scores what it finds against these rules, and swaps in anything newer or better suited. If a check fails, the last good set stays, so a section is never empty.
